Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and independently develop end-to-end AxiomSL/Adenza ControllerView solutions.
- Translate regulatory, functional, and data requirements into technical designs, mappings, calculations, validations, and reporting workflows.
- Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL, ETL processes, and Unix/Linux shell scripts for regulatory data processing.
- Perform source-to-report analysis, reconciliation, drill-down validation, root-cause analysis, and data-quality remediation.
- Implement traceability, lineage, auditability, maker-checker controls, and governance evidence for regulatory reporting.
- Prepare technical specifications, data mappings, deployment instructions, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Create and execute unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests and support user acceptance testing.
- Manage ControllerView object migration, release onboarding, environment promotion, scheduling, and controlled production deployment.
- Resolve defects in developer-owned solutions and provide limited post-deployment stabilization.
- Collaborate with business, technology, audit, data-provider, and vendor stakeholders while participating in Agile delivery and peer reviews.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on AxiomSL/Adenza ControllerView development in banking or financial services.
- Proven ability to independently design and develop end-to-end ControllerView solutions; support-only experience is insufficient.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including complex data analysis, reconciliation, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with ETL concepts, enterprise data warehouses, Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and enterprise job schedulers such as Control-M or Autosys.
- Working knowledge of regulatory reporting controls, data lineage, data quality, governance, and production support practices.
- Experience delivering regulatory reports for jurisdictions or frameworks such as U.S. Federal Reserve, FFIEC, Basel III/IV, EMEA COREP/FINREP, or APAC reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Preferred experience with ControllerView 10 or 11, Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code-quality controls, and DevOps release practices.
- Preferred experience with regulatory change delivery, platform upgrades, taxonomy updates, remediation programs, or legacy reporting modernization.
- Knowledge of capital, liquidity, counterparty credit risk, financial reporting, or trade and transaction reporting is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, stakeholder-management, and independent ownership skills are required.
