Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications for digital financial products.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, compliance teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop reusable frontend components using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Build user interfaces for financial transactions, account management, reporting, and payment workflows.
  • Integrate frontend systems with APIs, payment gateways, banking services, fraud-prevention tools, and third-party financial platforms.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and secure session-management mechanisms.
  • Optimize performance, responsiveness, scalability, and reliability across devices and browsers.
  • Ensure accessibility, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and secure handling of sensitive input fields.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving customer transactions, account servicing, and digital financial products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of fintech frontend development experience.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript and experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, fintech products, payment gateway integration, and API integration.
  • Experience with secure application development, authentication, authorization, and secure session management.
  • Awareness of financial regulations, compliance requirements, accessibility standards, PCI-DSS, and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to technical decision-making, code reviews, and engineering standards.
