Responsibilities
- Conduct security risk assessments for authentication and payment-related projects.
- Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and fraud scenarios affecting login, account management, and payment journeys.
- Advise Product and Engineering teams on secure authentication and payment mechanisms, including MFA, passwordless authentication, SSO, wallet security, and checkout security.
- Participate in product roadmap and architecture discussions to define security requirements early.
- Perform threat modeling, secure design reviews, and remediation guidance.
- Contribute to security controls for authentication, session security, fraud prevention, encryption, and secrets management.
- Secure Payment Service Provider integrations and support PCI-DSS compliance initiatives.
- Promote DevSecOps practices and integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve security standards, tooling, and cloud security posture while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Fraud, Compliance, and Architecture teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, authentication, or payment security.
- Strong knowledge of MFA, OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, and IAM.
- Experience securing payment ecosystems and understanding fraud prevention and PCI-DSS requirements.
- Comfort with web and API security practices in modern cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and microservices.
- Ability to perform pragmatic risk analysis while balancing security, user experience, and business needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in technical and business contexts.
- Fluent English.
