Responsibilities
- Own complex systems end-to-end, from discovery and solution design through rollout and measurement.
- Lead technical design and architecture for features and services in a distributed, event-driven architecture.
- Elevate the codebase by improving domain boundaries, data models, and integration points.
- Uphold and raise engineering standards, focusing on test strategy, observability, and performance.
- Mentor and amplify other engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand customer problems and ship outcomes.
- Contribute to on-call operations and guide incident response and post-incident learning.
- Continuously improve CI/CD processes, developer experience, and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience as a frontend-leaning, full-stack engineer with a focus on user experience in distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale SaaS front ends using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies.
- Strong track record of leading projects end-to-end and delivering reliable solutions.
- Product-focused mindset with the ability to define and measure success metrics.
- Good testing discipline with knowledge of various testing strategies.
- Self-directed with proactive communication skills.
