Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between Technology Delivery teams and lines of business to identify, document, communicate, and deliver technology solutions.
- Facilitate requirements elicitation, walkthroughs, business process analysis, workflow analysis, and acceptance criteria development.
- Analyze data availability, sourcing, quality, relationships, lineage, governance, and capture requirements for enterprise repositories.
- Support Card Fraud Data Delivery initiatives and collaborate with fraud teams, vendors, engineers, data scientists, architects, and data office leadership.
- Analyze Informatica and Ab Initio ETL codebases, document transformation logic, and convert workflows into scalable Talend jobs.
- Design, implement, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines that load and transform data in Snowflake using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Support migration and modernization of legacy ETL tools and ensure data quality, reconciliation, governance, lineage, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements and help direct engineering and deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- In-depth information systems knowledge and the ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration and the Snowflake cloud data platform.
- Ability to interpret Informatica and Ab Initio ETL workflows and translate them into Talend-based solutions.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT migration strategies, data integration, big data, data architecture, data governance, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, clustering, partitioning, query tuning, cost optimization, and Medallion architecture.
- Experience with Talend orchestration, scheduling, and end-to-end pipeline development.
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, transactional data, large datasets, and data analysis.
- Experience managing requirements, projects, concurrent activities, technical delivery, and stakeholders using Agile, Lean, Waterfall, or similar approaches.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Understanding of banking products, transactions, financial fraud, and data used to identify and prevent fraud attacks is preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products is preferred.
