Responsibilities
- Write software development, software configuration management, and software test plans for customers and stakeholders.
- Define comprehensive functional, integration, system, and user acceptance test plans.
- Support software documentation and coordinate releases and deliveries with customers.
- Monitor, configure, and manage static analysis, code coverage, and other quality tools.
- Define quality metrics and dashboards for continuous monitoring.
- Verify that release candidates pass testing.
- Evaluate compliance with the software development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated software quality assurance experience.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience tailoring software development processes.
- Experience writing or editing software user documentation.
- Experience with Git repositories and artifacts.
- Experience writing release test plans and tracking results.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with MIL-STD-498 or SMC-S-012, at least 3 years of AS9100 process experience, aerospace software quality engineering experience, static analysis tool experience, and risk management framework experience.
