Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the embedded Software-in-the-Loop environment for Construction & Forestry product teams.
- Develop and maintain embedded build, integration, plant-model, configuration, and runtime workflows.
- Create C# applications, services, utilities, diagnostics, and automation for SIL execution, logging, regression testing, and failure classification.
- Troubleshoot software, model, build, runtime, configuration, versioning, and performance issues.
- Integrate embedded applications, controls, models, and communication interfaces into SIL for functional and regression testing.
- Partner with embedded software, controls, systems, PV&V, verification, global stakeholders, and suppliers to define requirements and improve the environment.
- Maintain documentation, onboarding materials, source-control practices, automated checks, CI integration, versioning, and release notes.
- Support SIL users, guide debugging and verification practices, and reduce setup time while improving stability and model fidelity.
Requirements
- Experience developing and debugging embedded software or embedded toolchains, including build, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Experience improving and maintaining simulation or SIL environments, including configuration management and troubleshooting across software and models.
- Proficiency in C# and at least one additional language used in embedded or tooling contexts, such as C, C++, or Python.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve build failures, runtime faults, configuration issues, and performance problems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with embedded developers, controls and model engineers, and verification teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a sustain-and-improve environment.
- Preferred experience with plant-model development, calibration, model integration, software testing, HIL, SIL, black-box testing, and boundary-condition testing.
- Preferred experience with Emb32 or similar embedded targets, ECU-Test, Squish, Jenkins, developer tooling, automation, and CI integration.
- Preferred experience with electrical hardware, embedded software, mechanical systems, off-road or automotive controls, model-based testing, distributed embedded systems, and CAN/J1939 or Ethernet-based communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience.
