Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in Splunk’s portfolio, use cases, and alignment with customer challenges.
- Own the holistic technical engagement and customer experience across assigned accounts.
- Drive broader and deeper adoption of Splunk products within customer accounts.
- Operationalize hybrid/cloud, security, and observability solutions in customer environments.
- Build relationships with key customer personas and establish trusted technical advisor status.
- Create, lead, and evolve customer technical account strategies with supporting resources.
- Lead Splunk technical resources and evangelize use cases at regional events and with customers and partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling and delivering enterprise software solutions for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- 5+ years of experience working in or recommending SaaS delivery models.
- 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity and/or observability experience is highly desired.
- At least 3 years of practical public cloud infrastructure experience and understanding of cloud economics is highly desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience with infrastructure and application monitoring solutions; SIEM and observability experience is required.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting, such as Python and JavaScript.
- Relevant experience in IT operations, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, business applications, and/or analytics.
- Experience with EDR, XDR, SOC, SOAR, and ITOps is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
- Experience with German Public Sector customers and the Splunk platform or competing solutions is a plus.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German, with strong presentation, communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel across Germany to visit prospects and customers.
