Responsibilities
- Lead cloud architecture decisions for AWS and hybrid-cloud modernization initiatives.
- Design and deliver serverless, containerized, event-driven, Linux-based, and cloud-native platforms.
- Own Infrastructure as Code implementations and automation strategies for secure, repeatable, and scalable environments.
- Build and operate production cloud services with attention to reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with application teams to modernize pipelines, deployment strategies, and runtime architectures.
- Define reference architectures, operational patterns, and platform standards.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, rotating on-call operations, and operational excellence practices.
- Champion change, incident, and problem management within a DevOps/SRE-aligned operating model.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and vendor teams on compliant application architectures.
- Design and support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
- Address security and compliance concerns and harden platforms against cybersecurity threats.
- Mentor engineers and help raise organizational cloud maturity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience, primarily with AWS.
- Strong experience designing and operating serverless, container-based, or event-driven architectures.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated cloud environments.
- Practical experience modernizing or supporting .NET applications in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Comfort working in Linux-based, non-Windows, or containerized runtimes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and operational best practices.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace.
- Exposure to React, React Native, .NET, and C# from a platform or enablement perspective.
- Experience with Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Experience authoring or consuming OpenAPI specifications.
- Prior experience with large-scale enterprise modernization or platform re-architecture initiatives.
