Responsibilities
- Contribute expertise and ideas to the direction of a small team.
- Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions in an agile development environment.
- Implement high-performance software spanning tactical systems and web applications.
- Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments and analysis tools to quantify technology benefits.
- Engage with customers to ensure successful outcomes for mission-critical needs.
- Work across all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Help colleagues and customers understand the work and its rationale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or another technical field.
- Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Experience with C/C++, Python, Matlab, and big data, NoSQL, or database technologies.
- Knowledge of software design, algorithm implementation, software analysis, testing, and optimization.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, and classification.
- Knowledge of differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes.
- Knowledge of controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Transcripts or detailed information about relevant academic performance, coursework, and projects are requested during the application process.
