Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Generative AI solutions across user interfaces, APIs, data, and deployment.
- Translate Generative AI use cases into architectural and technical requirements.
- Integrate LLMs into applications including chat experiences, knowledge retrieval, and business-system integrations.
- Write maintainable, tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Support junior colleagues with technical implementation of use cases.
- Help expand BearingPoint’s Generative AI service portfolio.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in cross-functional agile teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 3 or more years of professional software development experience covering both frontend and backend.
- Strong experience with a modern frontend framework; React or Next.js is preferred, with Vue, Angular, or Svelte also accepted.
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills, or another typed language with willingness to work mainly in TypeScript.
- Experience building and integrating APIs and third-party services using a backend stack such as Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, or Go.
- Solid relational database skills including data modeling, SQL, and optimization; PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Practical experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in agile teams and good English communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes LLMs or Generative AI, OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs, prompt design, RAG, NestJS, Supabase, GraphQL, Docker, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Azure, AWS, GCP, microservices, or event-driven systems.
