Base Salary
$86k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React, Redux, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver high-performance, scalable applications and integrate server-side services.
- Analyze requirements, develop prototypes, implement responsive user interfaces, and translate wireframes into accessible code meeting 508 standards.
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and back-end services.
- Troubleshoot and debug deployment and post-deployment issues and provide production support.
- Optimize applications for performance across devices and browsers.
- Ensure code quality and compliance with coding standards.
- Support version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of software development experience.
- At least four years of front-end development experience, including at least two years focused heavily on React.
- Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of React Hooks, functional components, and the virtual DOM.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Redux, Context API, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and JSON Web Token.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active Secret or higher security clearance required; interim clearances are acceptable.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred: experience with Agile/Scrum tools including Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps; Next.js; Docker; Kubernetes; Node.js, Java, or .NET; AWS, Azure, or GCP; and OAuth2 or SAML.
