
Principal engineer - STL and Drivecore

- Technically lead the Safety Library and DriveCore product lines.
- Own the end-to-end execution of Safety Library features and software bundles.
- Integrate MCAL, safety libraries, crypto libraries, BSW, and third-party software components.
- Develop overarching functional safety and security concepts for integrated software bundles.
- Perform proofs of concept, impact analyses, and effort estimates for new bundles and customization requests.
- Provide technical leadership and drive execution with lean teams, using GenAI where applicable.
- Create unified software packages with a single installer, user manual, safety case, and Assumptions of Use.
Requirements
- B.Tech, BE, M.Tech, or MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in MCAL or device-driver development.
- Strong Embedded C/C++ programming skills, including linker scripts, memory mapping, interrupts, startup code, DMA, and low-level driver development.
- Proven experience using GenAI and human-in-the-loop methods for driver development and generating safety evidence and traceability.
- Strong experience integrating software stacks from multiple vendors and defining technical integration and safety strategies.
- Experience with Functional Safety under ISO 26262 and Automotive Cybersecurity under ISO 21434.
- Strong knowledge of ASPICE processes and software quality practices.
- Hands-on experience with EB Tresos Studio, Vector DaVinci Configurator, and ETAS tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Perl, C#, or similar languages.
- Experience with GNU, TASKING, Wind River, and related embedded development toolchains.
- Understanding of RTOS, multicore processors, and embedded systems design.
