Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test features and capabilities for Apache Accumulo supporting large content and metadata repositories.
- Conduct Apache Accumulo training with hands-on configuration and programming exercises.
- Develop web-based user interfaces, REST-based web services, and algorithms for large-scale operational metadata analytics.
- Analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and develop cloud software solutions.
- Install, configure, integrate, evaluate, enhance, sustain, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud software solutions.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and system test plans and maintain technical and user documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years within the last 10 years programming with Java, C++, or Python.
- At least 5 years within the last 7 years designing and developing applications in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
- At least 3 years within the last 3 years working with highly distributed, massively parallel NoSQL products such as HBase, Apache Accumulo, or Bigtable.
- At least 1 year within the last 3 years using MapReduce and at least 1 year using the Hadoop Distributed File System.
- At least 1 year within the last 3 years performing requirements analysis and design for object-oriented systems.
- At least 6 months within the past 2 years developing with Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Computing Services.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline; an associate's degree plus two years of programming experience or five years of programming experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
