Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions across supply chain, trade, manufacturing, and finance.
- Develop, test, maintain, and improve data pipelines and transformations using Python, SQL, and PySpark within Palantir Foundry.
- Design and implement Ontology Objects, Links, Actions, and Interfaces representing business processes and data relationships.
- Build and support Workshop applications, artificial-intelligence-powered workflows, and operational data products.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring solutions for reliable data assets.
- Troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and improve pipeline performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers on scalable solutions.
- Document solutions, share knowledge, and continuously develop expertise in Palantir Foundry, Ontology design, artificial intelligence capabilities, and business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with SQL and Python, including building and supporting data pipelines and data transformations.
- Familiarity with PySpark or distributed data processing technologies.
- Understanding of data modeling fundamentals and data lifecycle concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting data issues and improving data pipeline reliability.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Palantir Foundry production experience, exposure to Ontology concepts, Workshops, operational applications, or similar data product frameworks, and familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, trade, finance, or consumer packaged goods processes are preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
