Base Salary
$168k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop novel machine learning methods and contribute to the team’s research agenda
- Identify areas for innovation based on real-world computer vision use cases
- Create approaches that generalize across diverse data and run efficiently on different hardware targets
- Write research papers aimed at top conferences
- Translate research methods into production systems running at scale
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in AI, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or a similar technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- History of publications at conferences or journals such as CVPR, NeurIPS, or ICLR
- Proficiency in Python
- Commitment to scientific rigor, reproducibility, and high-quality software
- Passion for computer vision and solving valuable user problems
- Pragmatic focus on practical utility
- Preferred: experience optimizing models for edge hardware
- Preferred: experience training models on distributed infrastructure
- Preferred: expertise in PyTorch
