Responsibilities
- Support software development and certification activities in accordance with DO-178C processes.
- Contribute to requirements, software design, code updates, technical reviews, pull requests, and bug fixes.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and source code.
- Participate in independent reviews of engineering work and documentation.
- Collaborate throughout the software development and certification lifecycle while learning safety-critical development practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic, project, or professional experience with C or C++.
- Previous internship or relevant practical experience is preferred.
- Interest in software development, software quality, and structured engineering processes.
- Ability and willingness to learn technical concepts and work in a rigorous development environment.
- Availability to work on-site in the Ottawa area three days per week.
