Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own systems that automate repetitive work across browser and desktop while handling concurrency, reliability, and observability at scale.
- Collaborate with the CTO and ML research partners to bring state-of-the-art agentic workflows into production.
- Architect and build backend systems powering Sola’s visual workflow builder.
- Design and implement services integrating with Sola AI models to generate workflows, provide insights, and drive adaptive execution logic.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale with strong reliability, observability, and performance standards.
- Proficiency across backend infrastructure, CI/CD, databases, and backend service architecture.
- Fluency with modern AI coding tools.
- Willingness to work five days per week from Sola’s NYC office.
- Early-stage startup experience and strong ownership in ambiguous environments are advantageous.
- Expertise in some or all of TypeScript, Python, Kubernetes, Temporal, Postgres, and DynamoDB is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with AI systems or MLOps at scale is advantageous.
- Ambition, creativity, and strong communication skills are advantageous.
