Responsibilities

Design, implement, and automate components of large-scale distributed cloud systems.
Build tools, automation, and workflows to improve availability, scalability, latency, and operational efficiency.
Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to deploy high-quality software.
Monitor production and development environments and implement preventive and corrective measures.
Participate in incident response, debugging, and root cause analysis for production issues.
Collaborate across teams to deliver consistent and reliable solutions.
Document designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides clearly and effectively.
Contribute to improvements in reliability metrics such as availability, MTTD, and MTTR.

5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps Engineering, DevOps, or production operations.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting systems, debugging production issues, and working with networking concepts.
3+ years of supporting public cloud (OpenStack, AWS, or GCP), with data center experience preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and automation, using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
Working knowledge of databases, networking, containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitLab).
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
