Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of the frontend using React and TypeScript.
- Establish and maintain scalable component libraries, design systems, and development standards.
- Partner with product and design leaders to translate complex functionality into high-performing user interfaces.
- Drive frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and reliability across browsers and environments.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define robust APIs and data flows.
- Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and support cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Contribute to product strategy and technical roadmap decisions.
- Advocate for frontend engineering excellence and user experience throughout product development.
Requirements
- Deep frontend expertise with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and HTML/CSS.
- Ability to design and implement complex, performant UI architectures.
- Strong understanding of design systems, state management, and scalable component frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to build intuitive and visually refined user interfaces.
- Experience mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and setting technical standards.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML-driven interfaces, or real-time data visualization is a bonus.
