Base Salary
$180k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, test, review, and maintain high-quality software code.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into products and lead execution end to end.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on architectural and coding tradeoffs.
- Drive strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that affect the broader engineering organization.
- Design, build, and operate large-scale, highly available cloud production systems.
- Manage projects from requirements gathering and design through debugging, testing, release management, and operational monitoring.
- Build new systems and services from the ground up.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Excellent coding skills, deep understanding of cloud architectures and algorithms, and strong debugging capabilities.
- Experience managing projects comprehensively from requirements and design through release and operational monitoring.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale, highly available cloud production systems.
- Ability to build systems from the ground up in a 0-to-1 environment.
- Interest in modern software development and Web3 best practices.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Preferred: prior Technical Lead experience, time-series monitoring or observability experience, TypeScript experience, AWS experience, and a computer science degree.
