Base Salary
$39k - $76k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain software, firmware components, and computing systems software.
- Support software development, operations and maintenance, and research and development for Air Force command-and-control and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.
- Apply software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle.
- Develop and support software integrated with multidisciplinary solutions involving aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering domains.
- Debug software, support build and deployment activities, and interface with customers, suppliers, users, and technical personnel.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of experience with modern software development, including technologies such as Java, JavaScript, or Spring, in a team using configuration-management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, or GitHub.
- Have at least 1 year of modern web application development experience including JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular.
- Have experience with build, packaging, and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Yum, NPM, and RPM.
- Be skilled in debugging and runtime activities.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA, previous internship or co-op experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, communication skills, and relevant activities are preferred but not required.
