Responsibilities
- Develop resilient distributed services and high-quality tooling supporting product operations and engineering.
- Investigate and debug complex issues spanning multiple teams and applications.
- Drive software delivery and improve engineering development and release processes.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to automate processes and improve developer velocity.
Requirements
- Proven backend software engineering experience.
- Proficiency developing with server-side object-oriented languages such as Java.
- Proficiency with Linux.
- Familiarity with infrastructure components including monitoring, logging, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Familiarity with HTTP and developing REST and web APIs.
- Ability to work independently, act decisively, and navigate ambiguous problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the role’s country on the first day of employment; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
