Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train and deploy ASR models end to end, including monitoring, performance tracking, and retraining.
- Improve the pronunciation model and integrate it more centrally into the learning application.
- Create metrics to measure ASR performance across tasks and languages.
- Expand ASR systems to new languages and markets.
- Build and maintain training and evaluation datasets and labeling pipelines.
- Work with Product teams to design learning experiences and measure the effectiveness of production models.
Requirements
- Extensive experience training large models on GPUs and deploying custom deep learning models.
- Proficiency in Python and common deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Demonstrated experience owning machine learning pipelines end to end, from proof of concept to production.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex machine learning concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong product sense and ability to evaluate model quality in the context of user experience and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience with speech or audio is a bonus.
