Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture and delivery of complex control-plane systems.
- Lead open-ended technical initiatives and clarify ambiguous requirements.
- Build resilient systems with strong observability and clear SLOs.
- Collaborate across various teams to align on designs and platform direction.
- Mentor engineers and provide high-quality design and code reviews.
- Improve developer experience for the control-plane stack.
- Influence technical strategy and propose roadmaps.
- Contribute to engineering culture through documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Typically 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with distributed systems design.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, or Scala.
- Ability to define end-to-end designs and manage project milestones.
- Strong understanding of SLOs, failure modes, and observability.
- Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions.
- Experience leading cross-team projects and influencing technical direction.
