Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure platform applications.
- Write secure, high-quality code in Python, Java, or another modern programming language.
- Identify problems and data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to restore platform stability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and resiliency.
- Automate software development lifecycle activities to reduce manual toil.
- Ensure compliance with security, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Java/Spring Boot, including development, debugging, and maintenance in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of software applications, technical processes, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
- Preferred experience with Splunk, Grafana, data streaming frameworks, AWS services, and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
