Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems and applications to improve company metrics.
- Analyze and design software features based on user experiences.
- Recommend software upgrades for existing systems.
- Optimize software for speed and scalability.
- Develop features to help new users understand the product.
- Lead the team in best practices in backend development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
- Achieve team goals through experimentation and data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Five years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
- Experience building scalable systems using Python, Elixir, or JavaScript.
- Proven track record of delivering features and shipping products.
- Familiarity with Python A/B testing for experimentation.
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis.
- Experience with monitoring tools for logging and dashboarding.
- Knowledge of Backend as a Service (BaaS).
