Base Salary
$113k - $154k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, test, and productize complex software features and solutions for RHOAI.
- Innovate in the MLOps domain and contribute to upstream open-source communities including KServe and llm-d.
- Write unit and integration tests and collaborate with quality engineers to ensure product quality.
- Use CI/CD best practices to deliver software-platform solutions.
- Ensure security, resiliency, maintainability, and cross-system interoperability requirements are met.
- Mentor junior engineers through hands-on technical training and provide guidance on open-source contributions and feature integration.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and explore emerging AI technologies for software development workflows.
- Conduct thoughtful and prompt code reviews.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements.
- Represent RHOAI in industry events, customer meetings, and open-source communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or the stated equivalent education qualification.
- Three years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
- Three years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and testing complex features for large-scale software platforms.
- Three years of experience writing unit and integration tests, working with quality engineers, applying CI/CD practices, conducting code reviews, developing in Python or Go, and developing applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Two years of experience developing for one or more public-cloud services: AWS, GCE, or Azure.
- One year of experience innovating and operating in the MLOps and/or AIOps domain.
- One year of experience building and releasing enterprise software based on open-source software.
