Responsibilities
- Identify and implement iterative and architectural improvements to software development workflows.
- Scale and advance trading-system build systems and development tooling.
- Optimize compile times, improve code quality systems, and simplify software processes.
- Troubleshoot build infrastructure issues and implement improvements.
- Design and build infrastructure for development, build, test, and release processes.
- Partner with development teams to align platform capabilities with evolving needs and drive adoption of engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience in Python, Java, and/or C++.
- Knowledge of stable, dependable build environments and rapid feedback cycles.
- Prior experience with Bazel or another monorepo build system.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, TeamCity, or GoCD.
- Experience with containerization technologies and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder collaboration across product design, development, and delivery.
