Base Salary
$152k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered systems that improve software quality, engineering efficiency, and developer workflows.
- Develop workflows that analyze large codebases, code changes, and engineering signals to identify issues and support decision-making.
- Build and maintain production services and infrastructure for AI applications, including orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Partner with software engineers and cross-functional teams to translate workflow problems into practical AI solutions.
- Evaluate models, frameworks, and tools to improve AI-system quality, latency, reliability, and cost.
- Drive projects from conception through production deployment, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience or related experience.
- B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and excellent Python skills.
- Experience building production-quality systems and deploying AI or ML systems, data-intensive backend services, or intelligent automation workflows.
- Experience with LLM-based applications, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, or orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git-based development, including commits, branches, diffs, and large multi-repository codebases.
- Track record of solving complex technical problems and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Preferred experience includes AI systems for developer tools, code intelligence, software quality, testing, or debugging; model evaluation; prompt and context design; observability; production monitoring; large-scale software platforms; CI systems; and source-control-based engineering workflows.
