Base Salary

$90k - $125k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve code supporting quantitative research and trading activities.
  • Review, refactor, and update legacy programs to improve coding standards, reliability, maintainability, and computational performance.
  • Maintain existing systems and newly developed tools and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Develop and maintain test cases to validate code changes and prevent errors and system failures.
  • Follow development and code review processes while collaborating with the Quality Assurance Committee and senior Technology and Data leaders.
  • Analyze financial and computational system performance and execute trades.
  • Support trading system implementation, computational resource utilization, build and deployment processes, containerization, and cloud computing evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong Python skills, program design fundamentals, and refactoring experience.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and comfort working on the Unix command line.
  • Experience with version control such as Git.
  • General familiarity with PowerShell, SQL, and enterprise database structures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Coursework in cybersecurity, familiarity with cloud compute and infrastructure design, knowledge of R and MATLAB, and experience writing test cases are preferred.
