Base Salary
$118k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services using C# and the .NET platform.
- Develop and maintain APIs, services, and application components using modern .NET practices.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, and production support.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex application defects and production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support automated build, deployment, and continuous integration/continuous delivery processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Software Engineers and other team members as appropriate.
- Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver software capabilities.
- Support risk management and the protection of systems and data integrity and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant education, training, and work experience.
- Typically five years of experience or a demonstrated portfolio consistent with the role’s requirements.
- Demonstrated software development experience using C# and .NET, including modern .NET frameworks such as ASP.NET Core.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with Git or a comparable source control platform and collaborative development practices.
- Experience developing automated unit and integration tests and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, distributed application architecture, component-based software design, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and multithreading.
- Experience participating in code reviews and applying secure software development practices.
- Experience with automated build, deployment, or CI/CD processes.
- Ability to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively across engineering and business teams.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven or message-based architectures, testing frameworks, high-volume or highly available applications, monitoring and observability tools, and modernization of legacy .NET applications.
