Responsibilities
- Lead technical scoping and architectural decisions for high-impact machine learning and software systems.
- Design and build production-grade machine learning, software, tools, and scalable infrastructure.
- Define and implement standards and best practices for deploying machine learning at scale.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and commercial teams on client challenges and opportunities.
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and partners, translating complex concepts into actionable strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture and technical depth.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills in Python and at least one compiled or strongly typed language such as Go, Java, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Deep software engineering expertise focused on building robust, reusable, production-grade systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including architecture, security, and infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes for building and managing applications at scale.
- Ability to demonstrate ownership and autonomy in driving projects to completion in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent communication skills for guiding technical teams and senior non-technical stakeholders.
