Responsibilities
- Write and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Help manage AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Containerize services with Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters.
- Build monitoring dashboards and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Automate operational toil with Python, Bash, or Go scripts.
- Participate in incident response, post-mortems, and on-call shadowing.
- Contribute to internal developer platforms and documentation.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Comfort with Linux, Git, and command-line tools.
- Basic understanding of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, networking, and load balancing.
- Exposure to at least one cloud provider and containerization concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language.
- Experience or familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, or ArgoCD is preferred.
- Exposure to logs, metrics, traces, observability practices, GitOps workflows, or service meshes is preferred.
- Any cloud certification, including an associate-level certification, is preferred.
