Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a program technical leader for complex commercial and government space programs.
- Support engineering execution across mission software, platform infrastructure, reliability, security, and integration activities.
- Coordinate technical alignment across engineering teams for cohesive system behavior.
- Partner with engineering leads to resolve cross-system technical risks and integration concerns.
- Support architectural cohesion and long-term technical evolution of ground systems.
- Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and architecture development.
- Participate in proposal development and customer technical engagements.
- Conduct technical reviews, design reviews, and mission readiness assessments.
- Support anomaly investigation and operational issue resolution.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers.
- Contribute directly to engineering efforts through design and implementation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace, satellite, or mission-critical software systems.
- Strong technical breadth across software systems and aerospace mission domains.
- Experience with satellite ground systems and mission operations.
- Experience designing and operating distributed software systems in production.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and systems integration.
- Effective communication skills across various stakeholders.
- Experience leading technical efforts in multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly evolving technical environments.
- Active U.S. Security Clearance (TS/SCI Preferred, S Required).
