Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as program technical leader or Chief Engineer for complex commercial and government space programs
- Coordinate technical alignment across engineering teams and resolve cross-system risks, interface challenges, and integration concerns
- Support architecture, technical strategy, system design, and long-term evolution of mission operations platforms
- Support engineering execution across mission software, platform infrastructure, reliability, security, and integration activities
- Participate in proposal development, technical solution definition, and customer technical engagements
- Conduct technical reviews, design reviews, and mission readiness assessments
- Investigate anomalies, troubleshoot systems, and resolve operational issues for mission-critical systems
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers across the organization
- Contribute through design, implementation, prototyping, and technical problem solving
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience developing, integrating, or operating aerospace, satellite, or mission-critical software systems
- Strong breadth across software systems, operational systems, and aerospace mission domains
- Experience with satellite ground systems, mission operations, command and control, or flight dynamics and mission planning tools
- Experience designing, integrating, or operating distributed software systems in production
- Strong understanding of software architecture, systems integration, and operational reliability
- Experience leading technical efforts across multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Ability to communicate across software, operations, platform or infrastructure, and customer stakeholders
- Active U.S. security clearance required; TS/SCI preferred
- Applicant must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements
