Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and validate bespoke security solutions and custom security tooling.
- Engineer automated workflows and maintain sandbox lab environments for hardware and software security integrations.
- Perform STRIDE threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, technical risk assessments, and remediation lifecycle management.
- Map system configurations to ISO/IEC 27001, NIST SP 800-171/53, and EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements.
- Verify encryption, RBAC, MFA, audit logging, and other technical security controls.
- Provide security architecture diagrams, technical evidence, questionnaire responses, and documentation for customer tenders and compliance reviews.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on security architecture, technical security engineering, or systems integration experience in a complex technical environment.
- Experience designing and building custom technical solutions and using approved AI tools for automation and security capabilities.
- Practical STRIDE threat modelling, technical risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and remediation experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting, automation, integration, and custom tool engineering.
- Active UK Security Clearance (SC) or fulfillment of UK residency criteria for immediate SC sponsorship.
- Familiarity with TETRA, Land Mobile Radio, ESN, public safety IT environments, EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements, or relevant professional certifications is desirable.
