Base Salary

$110k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain camera drivers and sensor interfaces for multi-camera embedded platforms.
  • Integrate perception algorithms into production autonomy stacks and build image-processing pipelines using GStreamer, V4L2, and Jetson multimedia APIs.
  • Implement camera calibration, synchronization, data logging, telemetry, and perception health-monitoring systems.
  • Build ROS2 nodes, standardized message interfaces, APIs, visualization tools, and high-bandwidth sensor data transport.
  • Integrate VIO and SLAM libraries, tune EKF/UKF filters, implement outlier rejection and sensor-health monitoring, and optimize parameters using flight-test data.
  • Design simulation scenarios, automated regression tests, and hardware-in-the-loop test setups; analyze flight logs and support flight-test operations.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in robotics perception, computer vision, or sensor integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent industry experience also accepted.
  • Proficiency in C++14/17 and modern software development practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS2 architecture, packages, and development workflows.
  • Understanding of camera systems, image sensors, computer vision, sensor calibration, and multi-sensor time synchronization.
  • Familiarity with Linux development environments, embedded systems, and system-level integration debugging.
  • Preferred qualifications include camera-driver development, GStreamer, V4L2, NVIDIA Jetson platforms, UAVs or mobile robotics, PX4, ArduPilot, MAVLink, state estimation, VIO/SLAM frameworks, Python, real-time systems, performance optimization, robotics CI/CD, sensor fusion, optical flow, and feature-based tracking.
