Base Salary
$135k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Python and FastAPI APIs.
- Deploy, scale, and manage applications and Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
- Integrate MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL data sources and services.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment.
- Deploy Syntiant software to customer compute systems, networks, and private cloud environments.
- Maintain on-premises Ceph, PostgreSQL, and NFS services.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with DevOps and cybersecurity staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience developing APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure services including S3, RDS, and VPCs.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins and strong database experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Experience with Ceph, NFS, Linux system administration, cloud-native environments, and on-premises deployments.
- Ability to write maintainable code, perform thorough testing, and solve problems effectively.
- U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for U.S. security clearance; an active security clearance is preferred.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes operators, Helm charts, Terraform, and Ansible is preferred.
