Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, test, enhance, and maintain custom software components across systems and applications.
- Analyze requirements and design scalable, high-performing solutions for client projects.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Write complex SQL queries and perform data transformations within Snowflake.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication regarding project goals.
- Monitor and improve application performance and reliability through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Work independently as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse is required.
- Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse and Snowflake Schema is required.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices in Snowflake environments.
- Experience designing and optimizing database schemas and queries.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and performing data transformations within Snowflake.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration techniques.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
