Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications, services, and components.
- Design and implement APIs, integrations, business logic, and layered services.
- Develop and optimize relational databases, data models, SQL queries, and application data access.
- Plan, implement, test, and document software changes according to business requirements.
- Monitor backend services, diagnose issues, participate in incident resolution, and minimize disruption.
- Collaborate with developers, software testing specialists, stakeholders, and line managers to deliver work within agreed timelines.
- Provide technical guidance, answer questions, and support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Handle internal and external information confidentially and comply with company policies and safety requirements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional backend development experience.
- Very good knowledge of at least one backend development language or framework and server-side development practices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and clean, maintainable code principles.
- Experience with relational databases, data modelling, SQL, and query optimization.
- Understanding of REST APIs, integration models, layered architecture, and services.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- High attention to detail, accountability, resilience under pressure, and strong communication skills in an international environment.
- Higher education is preferred, especially in computer science, software engineering, informatics, or a related field.
- Experience with .NET Core, Laravel, Symfony, or equivalent frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with Git, branching, code review, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, SaaS, high-load environments, or high-compliance products is preferred.
