Responsibilities
- Perform functional, user experience, performance, manual, and automated testing for software and mobile products.
- Create test plans and test cases and execute them from specifications.
- Isolate, reproduce, and document bugs in pre-production and customer environments.
- Manage issue-tracking software and track testing progress and known issues.
- Collaborate across departments to report and resolve software issues.
- Help implement automated software testing and maintain optimized test scripts and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Internship or academic project experience in software or mobile testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of manual testing, Agile environments, software development life cycles, test plans, and test cases is required.
- Exposure to functional testing methods including sanity, black-box, white-box, regression, and ad hoc testing is preferred.
- Exposure to Jira, Trello, Confluence, or similar management tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, documentation, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills are required.
- Experience with Flutter applications, AWS, REST APIs, SQL or MongoDB databases, performance testing, and web or mobile test automation is desired.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, Dart, Flutter Driver, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cucumber is desired.
- Ability to travel occasionally is required.
