Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications and software systems implementing logical and mathematical solutions.
- Develop and maintain IBCS software products across multiple software baselines as part of SAFe Scrum teams.
- Perform software development and upgrades in multiple programming languages while preserving operational behavior of tactical software.
- Create and update documentation using Markdown and collaboration tools.
- Support unit and functional testing, code coverage analysis, static code analysis, and test automation improvements.
- Collaborate with systems and test engineers in integrated software teams and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Mid-level qualifications require 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or 1 year with a PhD; senior-level qualifications require 8, 6, or 4 years respectively.
- Strong object-oriented software development experience with Java and C++.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments, with experience using Bash and Python.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence in Agile SAFe environments.
- Active Secret clearance, ability to maintain the clearance, and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Preferred qualifications include MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools, DevSecOps and CI/CD experience, RTI/DDS middleware experience, defense-system experience, engagement planning and execution, track management, and CompTIA Security+.
