Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using cloud providers and Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Define and execute internal and external deployments with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Promote SRE practices for system resilience, performance monitoring, and high availability.
- Design and develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Python.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Identify technical solutions for internal and external customers and train peers or customers on product operation.
- Perform root cause analysis and build operational tooling for large-scale deployments.
- Lead scalable and sustainable mechanisms for continued customer delivery.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience.
- Technical expertise in networking, cloud technologies, application development, and/or cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Go, Python, Rust, or C++.
- Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: experience managing Kubernetes clusters with hundreds of nodes.
- Preferred: knowledge of performance improvement techniques, metrics, and alerting.
- Preferred: experience with KubeVirt, qemu, virtualization, and hypervisor technologies.
- Preferred: experience with low-level frameworks, Linux, and databases.
- Preferred: excellent written and verbal communication skills.
