Base Salary

$65k - $89k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and align solutions with global standards and industry best practices.
  • Support manufacturing operations through application support, reporting, and analytics.
  • Become the subject matter expert and primary U.S. support resource for a critical manufacturing application managed by a European team.
  • Troubleshoot applications and perform front-line break/fix support.
  • Design and create specifications for acquiring process data.
  • Develop reporting and data analytics solutions for technical and business challenges.
  • Support system integrations and ensure application code, business logic, and connected systems function effectively together.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects and processes.
  • Provide user training and ongoing support for existing software solutions.
  • Work with IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, plant leadership, application owners, and global support partners on development and operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of software development, application support, or systems integration experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting business-critical applications.
  • Knowledge of web development tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Understanding of application architecture, business logic, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET applications and customer-facing solutions is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Databricks, Elastic Stack, or OSI PI is preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing systems and operations is preferred.
  • Experience in continuous or length-based manufacturing environments and collaboration across multiple regions is preferred.
  • A process-oriented mindset and strong customer focus are preferred.
