Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and align solutions with global standards and industry best practices.
- Support manufacturing operations through application support, reporting, and analytics.
- Become the subject matter expert and primary U.S. support resource for a critical manufacturing application managed by a European team.
- Troubleshoot applications and perform front-line break/fix support.
- Design and create specifications for acquiring process data.
- Develop reporting and data analytics solutions for technical and business challenges.
- Support system integrations and ensure application code, business logic, and connected systems function effectively together.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects and processes.
- Provide user training and ongoing support for existing software solutions.
- Work with IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, plant leadership, application owners, and global support partners on development and operational initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development, application support, or systems integration experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting business-critical applications.
- Knowledge of web development tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Understanding of application architecture, business logic, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET applications and customer-facing solutions is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Databricks, Elastic Stack, or OSI PI is preferred.
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems and operations is preferred.
- Experience in continuous or length-based manufacturing environments and collaboration across multiple regions is preferred.
- A process-oriented mindset and strong customer focus are preferred.
