Responsibilities
- Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs, user experiences, services, and large-scale systems handling billions of money movement requests.
- Debug and resolve critical production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to their growth.
- Meet directly with users to help shape product changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build large-scale features and improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Work effectively with distributed and hybrid teammates.
Requirements
- 2–12+ years of industry software engineering experience, excluding internships and co-ops.
- Strong coding skills in any programming language.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute across workstreams and support peers.
- Ability to work with substantial autonomy and responsibility in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Interest in generalist software engineering across varying technologies and stacks.
- Preferred: experience building user interfaces.
- Preferred: experience with user research or interaction design.
- Preferred: experience designing and building APIs.
