Responsibilities
- Build and deliver production ABAP solutions in SAP ECC, including reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and posting logic.
- Contribute to S/4HANA Public Cloud stabilization and Private Cloud planning using CDS, RAP, ABAP Cloud, and clean-core principles.
- Work directly with business users to understand processes, configuration, and requirements across Finance, Logistics, Operations, and Sales.
- Follow coding guidelines, ABAP Test Cockpit checks, code review practices, and transport discipline.
- Review colleagues’ code, use AI-assisted development within team standards, and follow issues through post-go-live resolution.
- Collaborate with business users, project leads, functional consultants, SAP BTP and integration teams, SAP Basis, and the ABAP Development Lead.
Requirements
- More than 8 years of SAP development experience with deep current ABAP knowledge in ECC.
- Experience with ABAP enhancements, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, OData, REST interfaces, and performance optimization.
- Practical SAP S/4HANA experience, including CDS views and a solid understanding of clean-core principles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable production outcomes, including recovering delayed initiatives.
- Experience working with business users and understanding the process and configuration behind requirements.
- Experience with code review, ABAP Test Cockpit, transport discipline, and onshore/offshore or multi-team environments.
- Openness to AI-assisted development and willingness to learn agentic SAP platforms such as Nova Intelligence and Conduct; prior AI experience is mentioned.
- Comfort using English in conversation and writing.
