Base Salary
$90k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support software development leads and work on moderate to complex projects.
- Apply security coding best practices, participate in code reviews, and maintain software documentation.
- Troubleshoot, support, and optimize software systems while resolving and following up on issues.
- Use AI tools and automation where appropriate to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of related experience or successful completion of United’s Early Career Digital Leadership Program.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and NoSQL, preferably DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of rules engines such as Drools and advanced knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, design patterns, and relevant technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and exposure to Dynatrace, GitHub Copilot, Harness, Jira, Angular, SQL, Oracle, relational databases, AI-assisted automation, and infrastructure.

- Base pay range is $89,965.00 to $117,212.00, with eligibility for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation.
