Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and scale the core economic engine for Waymo’s ride-hailing commercial services.
- Build systems for managing trip requests, matching vehicles to riders, calculating ride prices, and positioning vehicles for future demand.
- Develop infrastructure for automatically training and deploying optimization and prediction machine-learning models for real-time pricing, matching, and positioning decisions.
- Create experimentation, monitoring, and analysis infrastructure for deployed models.
- Partner with product data scientists to develop and productionize pricing and matching models.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of programming experience in backend coding languages.
- Experience building backend distributed systems.
