Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-grade AI systems for enterprise customers across security, search, observability, and governance.
- Develop orchestration layers for multi-agent systems, retrieval pipelines, workflow automation, and decision intelligence.
- Integrate foundation models, customer data sources, APIs, and existing applications into cohesive AI experiences.
- Optimize systems for latency, reliability, observability, cost, and security.
- Own complex cross-team technical challenges and lead architecture and design for enterprise systems.
- Embed with customers, understand their operations, and partner with AWS service teams to deliver solutions.
- Mentor engineers, influence teams and organizations, and turn technical patterns into reusable accelerators for the FDE practice.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 7+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Experience leading and influencing a team or organization.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences or working in similar environments.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, natural language processing, or machine learning and large language model fundamentals.
- Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
- Preferred: experience with the AWS platform, web services, software development, or related technologies.
- Preferred: experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Preferred: experience with agentic and specification-driven development practices.
