Responsibilities
- Develop platforms that enable scientists, researchers, and developers to run machine learning jobs efficiently at scale.
- Build solutions to orchestrate and support large quantities of data through ingestion, indexing or mining, transformation, machine learning, and online deployment.
- Define a consistent continuous integration and deployment model supporting self-service application testing, deployment, and operations.
- Influence and lead cross-functional initiatives that align the team around shared technologies and methodologies.
- Partner closely with the early team on product direction and critical technical decisions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages relevant to large-scale systems, such as Python, Rust, C++, Go, and Java.
- Knowledge of deploying and operating highly available production systems in the cloud.
- Experience designing service-oriented architectures and using various data store technologies.
- Experience working directly with machine learning models, either by partnering with model-building teams or building models, is preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous problems is preferred.
